Hello My Name Is David Hall. I have had the pleasure of teaching Visual Art for 21 years. My goal is to increase every student's art knowledge and skill base. This year, we will focus on Art History from Prehistoric Art to Ancient Greece. We will also enjoy sculpting, painting, crafts, and drawing.
2021- 2022 Art Syllabus
Required Materials: Pencil, notebook or sketchpad
Helpful Materials: Ruler, colored pencils, Sharpener
2021-2022 Prehistoric through Greece
2022-2023 Greece through Renaissance
2023-2024 Renaissance through Modern Art
Assignments: This semester will consist of: Art History Tickets (Daily) 40%
Weekly Mascot drawings and projects 50%
Tri-weekly drawings (Assessments) 10%
The tri-weekly drawings will count as a project grade and an assessment grade. These assignments will be further examined and given a differentiation level. Student assignments will differ slightly based on these levels.
Students are required to stay in their assigned seats and line up according to teacher instructions. No student should leave their assigned seat without permission. Discipline issues will result in following Jaguar Justice. See student handbook for further details.
Assignment due dates: All work should be turned in on the date requested by the teacher. There will be no extra time given for assignments unless the student has an excused absence.
